Medical Doctor & Founder
Dr. Burton is a Texas Native that completed medical school at Texas Tech University and did her Residency and Fellowship at University of Alabama at Birmingham. After Fellowship she moved back to Dallas where she was an attending physician at Children's Medical Center before she ventured out on her own to open her own Practice in 2014. In her free time, she is a boy-mom who loves all sports, but especially basketball ( Go Mavs!). She also enjoys outdoor activities and cooking. Most of all her faith guides her as a mother, doctor and business owner.
Physician's Assistant
Kathryn is a Dallas area native who studied at Texas A&M University and received her undergraduate degree in Allied Health. She then moved to Fort Worth to attend Physician Assistant school at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and completed her clinical rotations throughout Texas. She joined Pediatric Endocrinology of North Texas in 2021 and loves working with the wonderful team at PENT. During her free time, she enjoys being active outdoors, baking, and spending time with her husband. One of her goals is to visit every national park.
Diabetes Educator
Nicole, a Fayetteville, Arkansas native, earned her master’s degree in Dietetics from the University of Arkansas. She raised her two children in Charlotte, NC, where she became a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. With over 30 years of experience in diabetes education, Nicole specializes in insulin pumps, CGMs, and diet and lifestyle management. After moving to Dallas in 2016, she practiced in Plano before joining Pediatric Endocrinology of North Texas in fall 2024. In her free time, Nicole enjoys Pure Barre workouts, gardening, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and husband and two adult children.
